Description

  • This course will provide the students with terms utilized in the Texas Penal Code concerning laws pertaining to animals as well as terms and conditions utilized in the Texas Health and Safety Code pertaining to animals.  The student will learn ways to recognize and understand canine behaviors.  They will be made aware of non-lethal tools/methods/resources to avoid and defend against canine attack, including conflict avoidance, de-escalation, and use of force continuum principles.
